It will be sold for ¥20,000 starting Nov. 21, and will come in the colors WineRed, DarkBrown and NaturalWhite. This device will be titled the Nintendo DSi XL in North America and Europe.
Nikkei, one of Japan's largest media corporations, reported this morning that a new, 4-inch screen Nintendo DSi will be released in Japan soon, possibly by the end of the year. This DSi will sell for the same price as the current DSi: ¥18,900.
The new DSi will be 18.75% larger than the current DSi's screen (3.25 inches) and 25% larger than the DS and DS Lite's (3 inches). The new screen will be closer to the size of the PlayStation Portable's 4.3″ screen.
