Various Pokémon distributions for Pokémon Black and White are currently on-going. Additionally, future distributions have been announced.

Beginning Oct. 10, the Trade for Evolution event has been going on across various universities in Japan. The final stop of the event will be on Nov. 28. Several Pokémon that evolve via trading are being given away. While the OT of all Pokémon depends on where the Pokémon was obtained, all have the ID No. 10100. All are in a Cherish Ball at level 30 with a Festival Ribbon. The Pokémon to be obtained will be selected at random and only one can be obtained per game during the event.

From Nov. 4, 2010 to Nov. 3, 2011, Tabunne can be obtained from Pokémon Center stores in Japan. These can be obtained as early as seven days before one's birthday and as late as seven days after, for a total of fifteen days. The Tabunne obtained are level 30 females and of the Calm nature. They are given away in Cherish Balls, with the new Birthday Ribbon and a Rare Candy. They have the ID No. 11040, the ability Healing Heart and the moves Healing Wave, Helping Hand, Refresh and Double Slap.

From Dec. 17 to Jan 11, Pokémon eggs will be distributed via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, following the on-going distribution of Kumasyun from Oct. 22 to Nov. 29. The contents of these eggs will be one of three currently-unknown Pokémon. The one to be obtained will be selected at random. This event will coincide with the release of the Trading Card Game's Black & White Collection on the same date and the airing of the episode The Yabukuron Squad and the Secret Base!? on Dec. 9, in which Ash will also obtain a Pokémon egg.

From Sept. 1 to Nov. 1, fans could vote for a Pokémon that will be obtainable in the Pokémon Global Link. The winner, Arceus, can be obtained from Nov. 5 to Jan. 31. Since it has no Dream World-exclusive ability, it will still have Multitype. The level 100 Pokémon will know Recover, Hyper Beam, Perish Song and Judgment when obtained from the Dream Forest. Below is the list of Pokémon that ranked within top ten of the poll.

On a related note, fans may vote for a new C-Gear skin starting Nov. 10. The skin may be applied later on after accessing Global Link. The Pikachu skin may still be unlocked until Jan. 31 for those who voted in the poll mentioned earlier. Additionally, the event-exclusive Croagunk, whose passwords are obtained from CoroCoro magazine's November issue, may be unlocked until Nov. 19. The Kanto starter Pokémon, whose passwords are obtained from Pokémon Peer, and the Sinnoh starter Pokémon, whose passwords are obtained from the Beginning Set may be unlocked until March 31 and Nov. 30, respectively. Hoenn starter Pokémon can be unlocked starting Nov. 20. Their passwords are available in an upcoming guide to the games Pokémon Black and White.
