A new update for Pokémon Shuffle has added new main stages and expert stages while returning old special stages, while an update for Pokémon Shuffle Mobile has added new special stages.

New main stages and 3 new expert stages are now available in Pokémon Shuffle. There is no time limit on obtaining them.

The Regirock Great Challenge special stage is now available in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile until November 2, 2015. This stage is limited to 30 moves. Like all Great Challenge special stages in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile, the player needs to pay 2 Hearts to challenge the stage.

The Cresselia Escalation Battle special stage is now available in Pokémon Shuffle Mobile until November 2, 2015. The player can receive various rewards as they level up the stage.

  • At Level 5, the player will earn 1 Moves +5.
  • At Level 10, the player will earn 1 Disruption Delay.
  • At Level 30, the player will earn 1 Mega Start.
  • At Level 50, the player will earn 1 Mega Speedup.
  • At Level 100, the player will earn 1 Mega Speedup.
  • At Level 200, the player will earn 1 Mega Speedup.

The Giratina Escalation Battle special stage has returned to Pokémon Shuffle (3DS) until November 2, 2015. The player can receive various rewards as they level up the stage.

  • At Level 5, the player will earn 1000 Coins.
  • At Level 10, the player will earn 1 Disruption Delay.
  • At Level 30, the player will earn 1 Mega Start.
  • At Level 50, the player will earn 1 Mega Speedup.
  • At Level 60, the player will earn 2000 Coins.
  • At Level 75, the player will earn 2000 Coins.
  • At Level 85, the player will earn 2000 Coins.
  • At Level 100, the player will earn 1 Mega Speedup.

The Mega Banette Competitive Stage has returned to Pokémon Shuffle (3DS) until October 26, 2015. This stage is limited to 18 moves (it is not possible to pay a Jewel for additional moves). In this stage, players battle a Trainer's Mega Banette and try to inflict as much damage as possible; this score can then be uploaded to the Pokémon Shuffle server. Players will receive a prize, based on how they place within their region. Prizes can be obtained from October 26 (after the competition ends) until November 2, 2015.
