After the airing of the anime's thirteenth anniversary one-hour special, a clip featuring upcoming events in Pocket Monsters Diamond & Pearl were once again shown.
The preview revealed the following are following:
- The Grand Festival will premiere on April 29, 2010 in the 174th episode of the series.
- Hikari, Nozomi, Naoshi and Urara will enter the Grand Festival.
- Naoshi has a new Luxio, and Urara has a new Flareon.
- Nozomi's Kirlia and Muma have evolved into Erlade and Mumargi, respectively.
- Satoshi will use Goukazaru and Pikachu against Rentorar and Elekible.
