The successor to the Wii, the Wii U, has been revealed at this year's E3. Even though this news isn't directly related to Pokémon, this new console will be equiped with a new controler, complete with a 6-inch touch screen, which players can use even when not using the TV to play games. The system also has High-Definition graphics and capabilities, though they're not yet revealed. All Wii games are reverse compatible with this new system. Forthcoming Pokémon games shall appear on this platform.

The system is set to hit stores in March of 2012.
