As previously announced, Nintendo are currently touring shopping centers across the United Kingdom to give members of the public a chance to try out the recently released Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version.

This also gives players a chance to meet up, and if they bring your own copies of the game, then they can arrange trades, and battles (possibly even trying out the new Triple Battles and Rotation Battles that the games introduced) or explore another world in the EntraLink.

Nintendo have also revealed that they are adding a couple of extras to the remaining tour dates:

  • The first 20 people to attend each event will receive a free T-shirt!
  • A Pokémon Expert will also be at the events, and will be taking challenges!

The remaining dates and locations are:

  • Saturday 12th March / Sunday 13th March: Birmingham (Site – outside Selfridges), Birmingham Bullring, B5
  • Saturday 19th March / Sunday 20th March: Metrocentre, Newcastle (Site – Town Square), Metrocentre, Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE11 9YG
  • Saturday 2nd April / Sunday 3rd April: X Factor Live, Glasgow SECC, Exhibition Way, Glasgow, G3 8YW

This is a great opportunity for fans and members of the UK Community to meet up as well as find new fans of the game.

Nintendo UK have also confirmed that, contrary to what was previously reported and to what is happening at US events, there is no scavanger hunt or related contests and no merchandise at the events. Bulbanews apologizes for this error.
