"Do you believe you're the top Pokemon Trainer? Are you ready to test your strenght against other trainer's Pokemon across Greece?"

With these words begins the announcement of the second Greek Pokemon Championships, organized by Nintendo.gr with support from the fansite Legendary Pokémon. Players willing to participate can send their forms between December 10th and 18th. Tournament battles shall be held via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, while the finals and semi-finals will be run live on 30 January 2010 in the Saturn megastore in Kallithea, Athens. The tournament rules however state that the players have to decide on date for their battles on public, through Nintendo.gr 's forums, therefore participation is limited to those that are fluent in Greek.

Participants have a chance to win a copy of Pokémon HeartGold or SoulSilver and a WiiWare or DSiWare game of your choice and protective cases for the Nintendo DS courtesy of Nortec Multimedia (official representative of Nintendo in the Balkans and Turkey) plus a dozen of rare and elusive Pokémon, including Arceus, Shaymin, Jirachi, Regigigas courtesy of Legendary Pokémon.
