The officially American and European website for Pokemon, Pokemon.com, has unveiled the remakes of Gold and Silver on their website. The website features a micro-site showing the Sugimori art of the starters, Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chikorita, and also shows a short video containing CGI clips of Suicune, Raikou and Entei, as well as the mascots Ho-Oh and Lugia.

The video shows many new aspects not known until now, such as the bridge linking Sprout Tower to Violet City, and also shows the aesthetic views of Ecruteak City, as well as a panning video, displaying Goldenrod and Ecruteak City, and the beloved New Bark Town where you as the player start your journey. Some clips shown include a further look at the Blackthorn City Gym, and also shows the characters walking alongside their Pokemon in the Johto region.

No release date has been named yet, however the games have been given a Spring release in 2010 in Europe and America.
