According to Nintendo of America, Pokémon Battle Revolution is the first Wii game to link up to Nintendo's online service, the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, the first Wii game to link up with a Nintendo DS title, the first Wii game than can be controlled by the Nintendo DS, and the first game in the Pokémon franchise for the Wii. The game is set to be released on June 25, 2007.
