According to a Nintendo press release, the latest Pokémon games to be released, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, will be released in North America on March 14, 2010. This is confirms the release date revealed by Amazon several days ago.
HeartGold and SoulSilver return the player to the region of Johto, which was first visited in Pokémon Gold and Silver. The games were released in Japan in mid-September. Release dates for Australia and Europe have yet to be confirmed.
The press release also reveals details relating to Nintendo's Wii console, including information about future games and new colors for the Wii's remote controllers.
