The ad on the main page

Pokemon.com has a new "ad" on its main page, featuring the ear of the Pokémon previously known as the Notched-ear Pichu. However, when looking into the URL of said ad's Flash file, it refers to it as the Spiky-ear Pichu.

There is a possibility that this name is only used in-coding for the site, or could change before the final revelation.

This special Pichu is obtained in Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver after bringing the Pikachu-colored Pichu, an event Pokémon distributed to commemorate the twelfth Pokémon movie, to the shrine in Ilex Forest. This female Pichu will join players at level 30, with the moves Volt Tackle, Helping Hand, Swagger and Pain Split. It will also hold the Zap Plate, a reference to its role in the movie.
