The official Web site for Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver opened today. It features information on new aspect and story from the games.

The background used for the site features the promotional artwork of Ecruteak City by Midori Harada, just like the Japanese official site. The language for the Web site is currently available in English for the United States and Canada but region options for América Latina, België, Belgique, Canada (FR), Deutschland, España, France, Italia, Nederland, Portugal, and UK/Ireland will also be available.

The website features information about the Pokéwalker, a special pedometer that lets player interact with their Pokémon, catch wild Pokémon, find hidden items and trade gifts with friends.

Players who pre-order HeartGold or SoulSilver will get a Ho-Oh or Lugia figure, respectively. Unlike the Japanese versions of the games, however, there is no Arceus figure to be given even if both games were pre-ordered.

Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver Versions were released today in Korea Feb. 4, and will be released in the United States and Canada on March 14, in Australia on March 25 and in Europe on March 26, 2010.
