A guide to Pokémon X and Y has appeared on Amazon.com, set to be released simultaneously with the games on October 12th. The guide’s description reveals that “Super Training” will be a part of the sixth generation- without going into any detail over what it will entail. However, Super Training is listed in the same breath as the new Pokémon-Amie feature, suggesting that it will play an important role in raising Pokémon and improving their battling skills.

“Pokémon X and Pokémon Y: The Official Pokémon Strategy Guide” will also include information relating to each of the new gameplay features, such as Sky Battles, Horde Encounters, and Pokémon-Amie, as well as detail the new transportation methods. Tips for online gameplay and using the Player Search System (PSS) are included as well.

In addition to the strategy information provided in print, the guide’s description suggests that an updated type chart (including the Fairy type), a 3DS screen cleaner and a map of the Kalos region will be provided in the book.
