The Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity demo is now available for download on the Nintendo eShop for Europe. The demo can be downloaded from the main menu of the Nintendo 3DS.

The demo has the first two dungeons of the game Ragged Mountain and Stony Cave. The game progresses through the main plot up until the incident with Scraggy at Post Town, where the player then heads off to Hazy Pass. Most of the shops are unavailable except the Kecleon Shop.

The player can go through Ragged Mountain unlimited times, before moving on to Stony Cave. After the player attempts to head toward Hazy Pass, the demo prevents the player from progressing any further. The player cannot enter the older dungeons again, and the player is sent back to the main menu. The demo can be downloaded up to 30 times.

While the main story-line is limited, the Magnagate dungeons can be accessed multiple times. Magnagate dungeons use only the Ragged Mountain and Stony Cave designs and there is a limit of 53 different dungeons a player can go through. All of the saved data from the demo may be transferred to the actual game when it's released May 18.
