Pikachu's Ghost Carnival Screenshots

All Nippon Airways recently released to the public three screenshots of the upcoming short film Pikachu's Ghost Carnival. The screenshots and ANA's corresponding summary reveal some of the Pokémon that will be featured in the film.

In addition to Ash's Pikachu, May's Munchlax, Ash's Corphish, Brock's Mudkip, Meowth, Jessie's Wobbuffet, and James's Cacnea were confirmed to be returning after the conclusion of the Hoenn League. A Squirtle and Phanpy, who is also present in the upcoming movie, will also be present, and are most likely Ash's Squirtle and Ash's Phanpy. The short also features the new Pokémon Usohachi, believed to belong to a member of Ash's party.

Pikachu's Ghost Carnival will be shown on selected domestic ANA flights in Japan from August 1 to August 31, 2005. It is expected to be released on DVD some time after its in-flight run.
