A Pikachu event will be distributed in 40 locations in Japan on June 15, 2014. It will be distributed at Aeon Malls and Aeon Stores. During the June 1 episode of Pokémon Get☆TV, information about the Pikachu event will be announced.
The Pikachu will be holding a ribbon that will prevent it from being traded on the GTS. Only one Pikachu will be distributed per game. This special Pikachu was originally mentioned in this month's issue of CoroCoro comics.
