Go-Pokemon.com recently announced a new Pokémon Trading Card Game expansion, {{bp|Platinum (TCG)|Platinum}}: {{bp|Rising Rivals (TCG)|Rising Rivals}}. This set is to have 111 cards, plus 3 reprint cards, to have a total of 114 cards in this set. Four booster pack styles have been announced, along with 3 cards: Floatzel GL (Rising Rivals 4), Steelix GL (Rising Rivals 51), and Gallade 4 LV.X (Rising Rivals 106). The two theme decks are Drill Point and Cutting Edge, featuring {{p|Rhyperior}} and {{p|Gallade}}, respectively.
