Movie storyline

On his way to becoming a Pokémon Master, Ash and his companions continue on with their journey, when a large object enveloped in white smoke descends from the sky and lands suddenly in front of the group. Surrounding the area with white smoke, a figure emerges... It's the Mythical Pokémon - Volcanion.

Ignoring the concerns of Ash and his friends, the human-hating Volcanion immediately tries to leave. However, the impact of its descent causes a strange device to bind Volcanion and Ash together, leaving them unable to separate.

As the Pokémon runs off, Ash is dragged along with it. The two eventually arrive in the Azoth Kingdom, a super mechanical city where gigantic gears all around the city rotate continuously.

Why did Volcanion fall from the sky? And why did it head for the Azoth Kingdom? Set in a mechanical kingdom of machinery, the hottest legend in the history of Pokémon begins to unfold!

The title of the movie has yet to be revealed, but the movie is scheduled to make its premiere in Japan on July 16, 2016.
