Pokémon Center Tokyo Mega Evolving

The Pokémon Center Tokyo is relocating to the second floor of alpa in Sunshine City, Ikebukuro, Tokyo and will reopen as Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo. To celebrate this, promotional merchandise and Pokémon distributions will be available.

The current Pokémon Center Tokyo will close on BLAH. The Pokémon Center Mega Tokyo will open at 10 am on Dec. 12, 2014. Its opening hours are 10 am to 8 pm, with hours extended to 9 pm until Dec. 25, 2014.

Opening ceremony

The store's opening ceremony will be held on Dec. 11. Doors open at 4 pm, with the ceremony held at 5 pm, and the store closing at 6:30 pm. An exclusive commemorative key holder will also be available. Visitors can also purchase stock at this ceremony.

100 Famitsu readers will be selected to receive three tickets each to the opening. The deadline for entries to the Famitsu competition is Dec. 27, 2014.

150 Pokémon Daisuke Club members will be selected to receive three tickets each to the opening.

Pokémon distribution

The store will distribute a Shiny Pikachu as well as a Shiny Charizard holding the Charizardite Y to players who bring any Generation VI game. The Charizard and Pikachu distribution will also be active at the opening ceremony.
