A new software update for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon, version 1.2, became available for download on Feb. 6, 2018. These updates are available for Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo 3DS XL, New Nintendo 2DS XL, and Nintendo 2DS. You have to be connected to the Internet to be able to download this update. Make sure that you perform a System Update, so your 2DS/3DS is the latest version, before going to Nintendo eShop to download the Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon update. When opening the game, the update should apply to your game. Nintendo Support has said that after downloading the update, any Battle Videos a player has saved up until now cannot be played or made public.
