Players are to bring a {{bp|Nintendo DS}} with any {{bp|Generation IV}} game, equipped with a four to six Pokémon team.


Pokécharms, PokémonWorld, and Gamerbase have announced their second annual Pokémon battling tournament, to take place in Manchester, United Kingdom on July 3. The tournament will begin at 10:00am with a £5 entry.
There are some restrictions for what can be used in-battle:
* {{p|Mewtwo}}, {{p|Mew}}, {{p|Lugia}}, {{p|Ho-Oh}}, {{p|Celebi}}, {{p|Kyogre}}, {{p|Groudon}}, {{p|Rayquaza}}, {{p|Jirachi}}, {{p|Deoxys}}, {{p|Rotom}}, {{p|Dialga}}, {{p|Palkia}}, {{p|Giratina}}, {{p|Phione}}, {{p|Manaphy}}, {{p|Darkrai}}, {{p|Shaymin}} and {{p|Arceus}} are banned.
* The {{bp|Soul Dew}} is not allowed to be attached to any Pokémon.
* No two Pokémon or items can be the same, i.e. only one Bulbasaur, only one Persim Berry, etc.
