Pokémon Conquest combines elements of the Pokémon series and the "Nobunaga's Ambition" series.

After the spin-off crossover game Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition was released in Japan last month, eyes in the western fandom were focused on whether the game would receive an English localised release - which while Pokémon, some doubted due to the game's heavy focus on Japanese history and the small amounts of Nobunaga's Ambition titles that have been localised in the past.

However, today, Pokémon.com have announced that the game will be released in the United States as Pokémon Conquest. While the title has been changed, the official announcement does reference the Nobunaga's Ambition series, so the decision was most likely a marketing one. The game is due out in America on 18th June, while as of writing, a European or Australian release has yet to be confirmed.
