Pokémon Conquest

After the spin-off crossover game Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition was released in Japan less than month ago, the fandom outside Japan was focused on whether the game would receive a localized release due to the game's heavy focus on Japanese history and due to the fact that a small amount of Nobunaga's Ambition titles have been localized in the past.

However, today, the official Pokémon site has confirmed the release of Pokémon + Nobunaga's Ambition outside Japan. The Nintendo DS game Pokémon Conquest is set for a June 18, 2012 North American release.

In Pokémon Conquest, players take the role of Warlords, battling other Warriors, Warlords, and Pokémon in the Ransei region. Players choose between a male and female character to play as, and start out with Eevee. Much like the Pokémon Ranger series, additional content can be downloaded through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, and additional Pokémon can be accessed through passwords. The game features Pokémon from all five generations.

As of writing, PAL release dates have yet to be announced.
