According to the official Japanese Pokémon site, two new games have been announced as Pokémon Black and Pokémon White. Other details are currently unknown at this time.

The much-awaited {{bp|Generation V}} games' names have finally been announced. '''ポケットモンスターブラック''' ''Pocket Monsters Black'' and '''ポケットモンスターホワイト''' ''Pocket Monsters White'' are set to be released for the Nintendo DS in Japan in late 2010, rumored to be in August.
 
The only known Pokémon that will debut with these games are the non-legendary {{p|Zorua}} and its evolution {{p|Zoroark}}, which both feature in {{bp|M13|the thirteenth movie}}. The version mascots of these games have not yet been announced.
 
The April 11, 2010 episode of variety show {{bp|Pokémon Sunday}} is set to reveal more information on these games, much as the announcement of {{game|HeartGold and SoulSilver|s}} preceded its revelation on Pokémon Sunday last May. The latest CoroCoro magazine will be released April 15, with leaks to come any time.

Logos for Pocket Monsters Black and White Versions

The much-awaited Generation V games' names have finally been announced. ポケットモンスターブラック Pocket Monsters Black and ポケットモンスターホワイト Pocket Monsters White are set to be released for the Nintendo DS in Japan in late 2010, rumored to be in August.

The only known Pokémon that will debut with these games are the non-legendary Zorua and its evolution Zoroark, which both feature in the thirteenth movie. The version mascots of these games have not yet been announced.
