Pokémon Card Laboratory has updated the official Japanese Trading Card Game website with new information pertaining to the next Japanese expansion, 「アルセウス光臨」 {{TCG|Advent of Arceus}}. This expansion, among other things, will mark the debut of the last Pokémon, {{p|Arceus}}. In addition to the main expansion, two 17 card theme decks, the {{TCG|Arceus LV.X Deck: Grass & Fire}} and {{TCG|Arceus LV.X Deck: Lightning & Psychic}}, will be released.

Within the 126 cards, there will be 12 cards featuring Arceus. There will be one of each type, with three Colorless LV.X cards. Only eight of these Arceus cards and 14 other cards were revealed. The other cards include {{p|Tangrowth}}, {{p|Charmander}}'s and {{p|Pikachu}}'s evolutionary lines, {{p|Salamence}}, {{p|Gengar}}, {{p|Sceptile}}, a promotional {{p|Ponyta}}, and a promotional {{p|Porygon-Z}} [[File:Pokémon SP G.png]] belonging to {{bp|Mars}}. Other cards may be revealed before the July 8th release date.
