Jirachi merchandise

From July 21 to Aug. 28, players of Diamond, Pearl and Platinum can obtain limited merchandise featuring the legendary Jirachi in Japanese Pokémon Center stores. This can only be done by showing the special Jirachi knowing the move Draco Meteor obtainable from the Nintendo Zone or Wi-Fi from June 19 to July 17. Furthermore, on July 1, the stores will sell a special Jirachi plush toy for ¥980.

This special promotion is in celebration of Japan's annual Tanabata festival, which will fall on Aug. 26 this year.
