Pokémon Medal World machine

A Pokémon medal arcade game called Pokémon Medal World (Japanese: ポケモンメダルワールド), created by Namco Bandai, has been announced to be being sent to arcades. It debuted at the 49th Amusement Machine Show (Japanese: 第49回アミューズメントマシンショー) on Sept. 15, 2011. It is the second major Pokémon arcade game, with the first being Pokémon Battrio.

A medal game is a type of arcade game in which the player exchanges cash for medals in the arcade to insert into the machine to play the game and more medals can be won while playing the game. The game will have a multiplayer option for up to four players with a screen and bench for each player. There are screenshots of the gameplay featuring Scraggy, Snivy, Pikachu, Oshawott and Tepig with Pidove, Sewaddle, Audino, Deerling, Cottonee, Emolga and Foongus in hexagons and there are videos of the gameplay by Gigazine featuring Serperior, Emboar, Samurott, Reshiram and Zekrom.
