Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX, a remake of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue Team, has been announced for release on Nintendo Switch on March 6, 2020 in Japan, North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The game was revealed during a Pokémon Direct presentation.

The games have a brand-new visual style, resembling the artwork seen in the background of the original games' menu screens. Mega Evolution, a mechanic introduced long after the original games' release, will also appear in the remake.

A demo for the game is currently available for download from the Nintendo eShop. Progress in the demo can be transferred to the final game.
