After being out for barely over a week, the free-to-play Nintendo 3DS eShop title Pokémon Shuffle has surpassed one million downloads. To commemorate this accomplishment, players are being awarded with a free Complexity -1 item, which normally costs Jewels in-game.

To receive this free item, the player needs to use the Check In function and connect to the internet. The Check In function is available to players after beating Stage 11 in the game.
