The Nintendo 64 game Pokémon Snap has been released today for the European Virtual Console, just one day after its North American release. This release comes as a surprise as the European Wii Shop Channel usually only sees new Virtual Console games on Fridays.

As with the Japanese and North American releases, the game costs 1,000 Wii points and comes with the added ability to save pictures to the Wii message board to share with friends.
