Stamp & Postcard Collection

A limited edition series of postcards and stamps entitled 「アニメ・ヒーロー・ヒロインシリーズ第1集『ポケットモンスター』」 ("Animation Hero & Heroine Series, 1st Collection 'Pocket Monster'") is to be issued by Japan Post.

This July 22nd release will be limited to 500,000 sets total, at the price of 1,000 yen, and will be available for sale at all post offices around the country initially.

The set includes 2 50 yen stamps, 2 80 yen stamps, and 8 fully illustrated postcards.


Stamp designs include

  • Munchlax 50 yen (seal type) stamp x 2
  • Pikachu 80 yen (seal type) stamp
  • Mew 80 yen (seal type) stamp


Postcard designs include

  • Pikachu
  • Mew
  • Charizard
  • Munchlax
  • Rayquaza
  • Pikachu, Plus & Minus
  • Pichu Siblings
  • Meowth & Wobbuffet
