Pokémon USA and Pokémon UK are merging together under the name The Pokémon Company International. The president is now Kenji Okubo, the previous president of Pokémon USA. He will now report to the worldwide headquarters in Japan.
According to Okubo, the Pokémon offices in North America and Europe have worked closely together already. By combining the two, they want Pokémon to reach more people worldwide.
The company will be responsible for the Pokémon franchise outside of Asia.
