Russian TV channel 2X2 signed a five-year contract with Pokémon Company International to broadcast the popular animated series and movies.
Air of animated series starts May 1, 2014 with the season Pokémon: Black & White. 17th season of franchise Pokémon the Series: XY will be held in the Russian television in September 2014, before the Pokémon Trading Card Game: XY, which will go on sale in Russia until the end of the year. Fully in Russian.
CEO Leo channel 2X2 Makarov commented on the signing of the contract:
