The project currently has more than 1,000 articles, specializing in the various Pokémon media. Pokéteca recently joined as the seventh member of the interwiki group.


PokéTeca, a Spanish Pokémon wiki, has joined {{bp|Encyclopaediae Pokémonis|Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis}}, a group of Pokémon wikis in multiple languages. The Spanish-language Wiki currently holds over 1,000 articles specializes in various Pokémon media. The site is run by Another Bulbagarden project, {{bp|Bulbapedia}}, is the English-language wiki of Encyclopædiæ Pokémonis.
Pokéteca was founded last Sept. 1 by Habieru, who desired to start a Pokémon wiki for Spanish-speaking fans of the series. The current staff of the wiki consists of Bureaucrats Habieru, Hiro, Sumori Hose, and {{bp|User:Shadow|Shadow}} and Pokétecarios Kosen, Frika, Arqui, and {{bp|User:CoolPikachu!|CoolPikachu!}}.


PokéTeca was founded on September 1, 2008 by Habieru who wanted to start a Pokémon Wiki for the Spanish fans of the series. It was started so the fans could have to have a decent wiki.
