The All About Pokemon Figure (AAPF) blog posted today the unused names of Pokémon games that are trademarked by Nintendo, Game Freak and Creatures with the Industrial Property Digital Library (IPDL). The names were registered in May and June 2003, and it is possible that the new game announced in CoroCoro's June issue will have one of these titles in some form.

They are: ''Pocketmonster Topaz''; ''Pocketmonster Amethyst''; ''Pocketmonster Whitegold''; ''Pocketmonster Tourmaline''; and ''Pocketmonster Moonstone''. These names may be copyright to avoid names similar to [[bp:Generation|the official Pokémon-main games]], all of these links to [http://www.nintendo.com Nintendo's official American-site] when putting in them in any aeb browser's URL bar, changing ''Pocketmonsters'' to ''Pokemon'' of course. ''PokemonTourmaline'' and ''PokemonMoonstone'' are notably the exception for them.

If change the "g" in ''Pocketmonsters Whitegold'' to "G" and the "s" in ''Pocketmonsters Moonstone'' to "S", these names also sounds similarly to two {{Bp|Game Boy Advance}} main games from {{Bp|Generation III}}, namely ''{{Bp|Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions}}''. As compatibility to {{Bp|Johto}}-games has been found in ''{{Bp|Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions}}'' is it possible that, if they're going to be used as game titles, they are {{Bp|Generation IV}}-[[bp:Pokémon Gold and Silver remakes|remakes of]] the {{Bp|Generation II}}-games ''{{Bp|Pokémon Gold and Silver Versions}}''.
