At the 2013 Video Game Championship UK National Qualifier a Shiny Metagross based on Ray Rizzo's Metagross will be distributed to anyone attending the event in Birmingham at the National Exhibition Centre on June 2. It will have the same moves, Nature, held item and Ability as Ray Rizzo's Metagross.
Ray Rizzo is the champion of the 2012 Video Game Championships, and Metagross is one of the Pokémon he used to win the title last year. Ray Rizzo's Metagross is Shiny, has an Adamant nature, is holding a Lum Berry, has the Ability Clear Body, and has the moves Meteor Mash, Earthquake, Zen Headbutt and Protect. While it is only distributed at the event, attendees do not need to participate in the tournament to receive the Metagross.
