Rayquaza Mega Battle

This week's Battle Festa tournament, held in Osaka, featured an advertisement for the next tournament series to be occurring in Japan, the Rayquaza Mega Battle. It will be hosted in 4 places during an unknown period of time in spring, the four places being Tokyo, Aichi, Osaka, and Hokkaido.

This year's Mega Battle tournaments, the Lizardon Mega Battle, were held during the month of May in Yokohama and Osaka. Featuring Mega Charizard, the tournaments were held shortly after the release of the Mega Charizard centric expansion, Wild Blaze. Based on this, the expansion after December's Gaia Volcano and Tidal Storm could very well be centered around Mega Rayquaza.
