Regigigas to be given away in the U.S. in March

Regigigas will once again be given away in preparation for the release of Pokémon Platinum, similarly to how it was given away in Japan last year. Toys "Я" Us stores all over the United States will be giving away the Regigigas from Mar. 8-21. These will be in a Cherish Ball and are at level 100. They also know the moves Icy Wind, Iron Head and Rock Slide, moves that can only learn through move tutors in Platinum.

These special Regigigas are capable of unlocking special locations in Pokémon Platinum where players may catch the legendary Pokémon Regice, Registeel and Regirock at level 30. These three Legendary Golems may then be used to awaken the Regigigas found at the Snowpoint Temple. The Regigigas in Platinum is at level 1 unlike in Diamond and Pearl.
