Serial code cards for four different Pokémon will be distributed at {{wp|gamescom}}. These four Pokémon and their moves have been personally selected by {{bp|Shigeki Morimoto}} for their competitive use.

Each serial code card will have two serial codes for two different Pokémon. When redeemed in {{bp|Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sappire|Pokémon Omega Ruby}}, the player will receive {{p|Aromatisse}} and {{p|Malamar}}; when redeemed in {{bp|Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sappire|Pokémon Alpha Sapphire}}, the player will receive {{p|Sableye}} and {{p|Bouffalant}}. The codes cannot be redeemed in {{bp|Pokémon X and Y}}.

gamescom is an annual video game {{wp|trade fair}} held at {{wp|Koelnmesse}} in {{wp|Cologne}}, {{wp|North Rhine-Westphalia}}, {{wp|Germany}}. This year, it is being held from August 5 to 9.

The Aromatisse will be level 50, have the {{bp|Ability}} {{a|Aroma Veil}}, have a Relaxed {{bp|Nature}}, hold a {{bp|Babiri Berry}}, and know the moves {{m4|Trick Room|Heal Pulse|Disable|Moonblast}}.

The Malamar will be level 50, have the Ability {{a|Contrary}}, have an Adamant Nature, hold an {{bp|Assault Vest}}, and know the moves {{m4|Superpower|Knock Off|Facade|Rock Slide}}.

The Sableye will be level 50, have the Ability {{a|Prankster}}, have a Relaxed Nature, hold a {{bp|Sablenite}}, and know the moves {{m4|Calm Mind|Will-O-Wisp|Recover|Shadow Ball}}.

The Bouffalant will be level 50, have the Ability {{a|Soundproof}}, have a Relaxed Nature, hold a {{bp|Choice Band}}, and know the moves {{m4|Head Charge|Facade|Earthquake|Rock Slide}}.
