"Lylat Wiki" joins wiki alliance

Lylat Wiki, a wiki centered around the popular Star Fox franchise, joined NIWA last Friday, becoming the seventh member of the alliance. It was created in early 2010 by Tacopill and Neo for NIWA, and has almost 80 articles as of October 3, 2010.
NIWA, short for Nintendo Independent Wiki Alliance, is a network of wikis centered around various Nintendo franchises, choosing to be independent from wiki farms such as Wikia. The acronym means garden in Japanese. Bulbapedia was one of the three founding members of the alliance, which quickly grew to six wikis in May. Two other wikis are set to join the alliance, one on October 8, 2010, and the other on October 15, 2010.
