TPC to attend Jump Festa this year

It has emerged that The Pokémon Company will be making an appearance at this year's Jump Festa event on 17-18th December; a first for the company.

Jump Festa is a 2 day event sponsored by Shuiesha (one of Japan's major publishers) that allows companies to show off new anime, manga, movies and video games.

It is important to note that there has been no announcement as to which of the above products The Pokémon Company are attending to represent.

Shueisha is mostly known in the west for publishing the Japanese Weekly Shōnen Jump manga anthology and, alongside Shogakukan and Hakusensa, owning the North American company Viz Media who publish Pokémon manga in the English-speaking world. Shogakukan, who founded Shuiesha, are another major publisher known for publishing titles including Pokémon RéBurst and Pokémon Adventures
