Reshiram and Zekrom in their debut to English audiences

Although their debut games are still months away, Reshiram and Zekrom will be on display at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this Thursday. The two legendary Pokémon will be part of a "specialty unit" presented by The Pokémon Company International.

Reshiram and Zekrom are the box mascots for the upcoming Pokémon Black and White. These games were released earlier in the year in Japan, with international releases scheduled for Spring 2011. However, American audiences will already be familiar with some of the new Pokémon characters: Reshiram and Zekrom were announced worldwide on May 28, 2010; the three starter Pokémon Snivy, Tepig and Oshawott were revealed yesterday.

As reported earlier, Pikachu will also be on display in the parade, which runs in downtown Manhattan. Pokémon fans further afield can catch the parade (not to mention the Pokémon) on NBC (except in Houston and Detroit) at 9am in all time zones.
