Taiwan will be holding its first official video game tournament this year. Players who make exemplary performances can win prizes, as well as earn Champion Points for the chance to partake in the 2015 Pokémon World Championships. Those who qualify in the competition will also receive a subsidy from The Pokémon Company.
To enter the tournament, players can either register online or on site. Due to number of players that will register on-site, it is recommended that the players register online. Player must sign up with their name, birthday, and Player ID. On site registration will be on March 14, from around 11 am to 1 pm. The tournament will be held in Plaza No.1 below the Y27 and Y28 Exit of Taipei City Mall on March 14, from around 1 pm to 7 pm.
