Do you Expect The Editor In Chief To Resign?

If he didn't resign after 2 years, would you allow it, even though you said all the previous Editor in Chiefs did after 2 years?

If the Editor In Chief chooses not to resign, that should be his choice. It should not be forced on him to leave due to a precedent. If they decide to resign anyway, that should also be his choice. Did he state explicitly why he left? Or is that something of little importance?
