:Well... that's what Wikipedia says, and they cite [http://www.gamesetwatch.com/2008/04/column_game_mag_weaseling_just.php this article]. It's also been the received wisdom on the matter since forever. I originally intended to use our own Sugimori page as a source, only to find it's in a shocking state. :::The thing about that source is that it says he drew all of them. He does draw the official art for all Pokémon (even now), but that is not the same as designing them.
