Today is not the ninth, he posted this several days ago. Bluesun 23:01, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

It's not so much that he said "I'll consider it" (Which wouldn't mean anything anyway. You think they haven't been 'considering' remakes for a while?), but rather "I appreciate your input" or whatever. This news isn't a sign of anything, and it's silly to act otherwise. ~ BlueJoshi 23:37, 12 October 2011 (UTC)

NO NO NO NO NO

No stealing my thunder. Causing remakes is my job. And I don't want RS remakes. TTEchidna 04:41, 13 October 2011 (UTC)

Too bad, Mr. Echidna. Deal with it, we're going back to Hoenn ;) - Kogoro | Talk to me - 04:45, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
Also, these remakes aren't long-awaited. They've only been wanted since 2009, when HGSS became reality. When did GS remakes become wanted? In 2004. That's a five year span; it's only been two years since HGSS. TTEchidna 05:07, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
True. Besides, Ruby and Saphire are about the most overrated Pokémon games EVER and do NOT deserve remakes. They were a huge disappointment, as they scrapped the most praised GSC features and introduced new ones that were annoying, unoriginal and poorly implemented. EVs? Lots of RPGs allowed you to customize your character's stats on leveling up, though they didn't force you to fight stats-specific monsters for that. Double battles? MOST RPGs allowed for more than two characters to battle on screen at once, and they weren't limited to a total of four. Different terrain in battle? Been done thousands of times, though most RPGs weren't limited to just showing your character standing in a circle on the floor; they would change the whole background. Plus RSE's map graphics were REALLY awful by GBA standards, and making most old Pokémon unobtainable (despite them being in the games' code) so that people would have to buy FRLG and/or the Gamecube games to get them was really low. The people who think they're decent and want them to be remade are mostly those whose first Pokémon games were RSE (and thus can't look at them without rose-tinted nostalgia glasses). Remaking them would be jumping the shark a second time (the first time was when RSE were made...). - Crystal Master 09:25, 13 October 2011 (UTC)
