I'd say the article title is somewhat misleading. Nintendo issued a safety warning for the 3DS, that is different from labeling it "dangerous." Also, it's the 3D mode that may not be suitable for children. They can play the console in 2D mode with no risk beyond playing any other handheld. Why does this article state that the 3DS is "the fifth in the DS range of consoles."? This is incorrect. Nintendo has stated many times that the 3DS is not another revision of the DS.
