Until I read this article I'd never heard of these comics before, I've just had a look at them on Odomo's Flickr profile and I think they're brilliant too! So thanks for introducing me to them! I don't think they will decrease in quality if Odomo decides to make more, there are loads of possibilities for new strips. I'm not sure if Ash should mature though, it might make the series lose its charm. It is about Ash's early adventures, after all. Taromon777 16:44, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

It is never implied that Ash doesn't know his father. In at least a few of the earlier episodes he does talk about his father in phone conversations with his mom. TJ Spyke 19:18, 30 June 2010 (UTC)

It is stated quite clearly in the anime novelizations that Ash never knew his father, as he had left before Ash was born. 梅子^❀_✿ 01:26, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
