The group of Texas gamers known as The Speed Gamers have announced their next marathon: Pokémon. Nearly a year after their last Pokémon marathon, The Speed Gamers will do another holiday marathon from Dec. 18-21. Because of the new accessibility to Shaymin and Arceus, they have increased their goal from 491 Pokémon to all 493. Donations for this marathon will go to Ally's House, a charity that provides financial aid to families struggling to cope with the medical expenses of having a child with cancer.

During the three-day marathon, the group will be playing Pokémon Ruby, Sapphire, FireRed and LeafGreen, Diamond and Pearl, My Pokémon Ranch and imported copies of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver.
