The up and coming group of Texas gamers known as The Speed Gamers have announced their next marathon- Pokémon. Nearly a year after their last Pokémon marathon, The Speed Gamers will do another holiday marathon on December 18th. Because of the new accessibility to Shaymin and Arceus, they have increased their goal from 491 Pokémon to all 493. They will be accepting donations going toward Ally's House, a charity that provides financial aid to families struggling to cope with the medical expenses of having a child with cancer.

During the 72-hour marathon, the group will be playing Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire Versions, Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen Versions, Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Versions, imported copies of Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, and My Pokémon Ranch.
